Short description
The application is software for receiving, processing, and displaying data from the «Cyclone» weather station, designed for continuous monitoring of meteorological parameters in any terrain and under any weather conditions.
Data from the station's measurement unit is transmitted via a wireless radio channel over a distance of up to 1,500 meters, received by a converter, and forwarded to a mobile device running the application. If extended coverage is required, data transmission range can be expanded using repeaters, enabling the operator to remain at a significant distance from the measurement point while still receiving up-to-date information without the need to approach the instrument. The application is compatible with common mobile operating systems and can be used as an alternative to the remote control unit with a color touchscreen display included in the station package.
The application's primary function is the clear display of current and averaged readings for wind speed and direction, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, and humidity in real time. In addition to instantaneous values, the application plots wind parameter change graphs, facilitating visual assessment of weather condition dynamics throughout a work shift or a specific observation period.
Through rapid acquisition of data on wind force and direction, temperature, and other parameters, the application supports decision-making regarding safety during high-altitude, construction, and field operations — the operator can promptly respond to changing conditions and suspend work when permissible values are exceeded. Additionally, the application archives measurement results, enabling the accumulation of observation history and subsequent analysis of meteorological conditions over a selected time interval.
