Airsoft BBs

Despite the same diameter, airsoft BBs vary significantly in their characteristics. The main selection criterion is weight. Heavier BBs are slower but maintain trajectory better and are less susceptible to wind influence. Lightweight BBs weighing 0.10–0.15 g are intended for low-power spring-powered weapons without a Hop-Up system. Mid-range BBs — 0.20–0.28 g — are the most common and suitable for almost all types of airsoft weapons, including gas-powered replicas. BBs are divided into two main types: standard soft plastic and biodegradable plastic, which decomposes in the environment some time after being fired. The latter are recommended for games in woodland and outdoor areas.
